Just a brief update, have added a few more bits to the Gaunt model. Have made his amplivisor from the Cadian heavy weapons set, but had to cut a section out as they were too big, then spliced the 2 halves together. Continue reading

Have settled on the M4 style weapon for the commando lasgun and have made a test model here:
Just a quick one here, trying to find which one could be described as more along the lines of the ‘commando’ version of lasgun. Have used Photoshop to mock some ideas for the standard lasgun here:
This is the model I am using for Larks. I need to seat the rifle in to him by removing some of the plastic on the model and GS the gaps made. Should make for an OK fit. I have shortened the longlas and made the stock from plastic strip.
Hmmm…after reading some of the opening chapters last night of the Gereon Mission Novel, it seems that there were a dozen mission specialists involved in this team.
A lot of descriptive things in there and it would appear that even Gaunt himself wasn’t even wearing his commissar hat, just a plain black cap is described. And a single bolt pistol. Continue reading
I have redone the long las for Larks, fits a little more with the idea of the longrifle type than my previous effort.
