So, not strictly a 40K model this one, and I don’t even intend to do any hardcore converting on this model. Just a simple build up and a painting exercise really. Wanted to test out a few techniques that I have read about and thought this may the model to try them on.
So, the box says it all really, easy kit, just what I was after! Out of the box is ready to build and is a snap together model, so no glueing needed, but I will. I am not going to paint this as suggested on the box art, will select something else for the paint scheme as I hate Anakin (Do not get me started on those movies…) Continue reading

Hi all, just a quick post here to show you what I am currently painting.
I picked up this lovely special edition model from forgeworld off ebay, was undercoated when I got it but using dettol to strip the paint (perfect for this!) I got to work on prep and painting.

Hi all, firstly anyone that knows me will know that I am a total DanFan when it comes to Mr.Abnetts work, as far as I am concerned he can do no wrong…
After buying the hardback version of the book a few months ago (pretty much as soon as it hit the shelf!), I have been kind of putting off this reading this book and treating a little like pleasure delaying tactics, as I knew it was going to be a real treat, so I intentionally worked my way around some other black library novels first. As the title says all! And one of my new years resolutions to break is that I want to work faster and get some stuff completed and off my desk.
I am the worst for jumping from one project to the other and not getting anything completed, so I have a new theory about work and that is, get it done and get it done now. Don’t procrastinate and have sleepless nights thinking about all the modelling projects that you want to do!
