Forgeworld Pilot
Hi all, just a quick post here to show you what I am currently painting.
I picked up this lovely special edition model from forgeworld off ebay, was undercoated when I got it but using dettol to strip the paint (perfect for this!) I got to work on prep and painting.
Always wanted this mini as soon as I saw it was available, but the fact that I never got to go to Games Day that year, meant I was going to have to apy a real premium for it. Ebay is your friend!
So, the model had minimal flash lines and only a few areas where the mould had bled and left a few webs of resin. Easy cleaned up with a scalpel. Undercoated with Tamiya rattle can and I am going for a classic WW2 type pilot colouring. I am trying some new methods of painting here, so am a little more cautious about painting it. At the moment, it needs a lot of work, but have the general basic colours down.
