True Scale 7 – at last!
Hi all, at last made a little progress on these Marines. I am the slowest worker ever I think. When I see how prolific all the rest of the contributors are, I feel a little inadequate! Anyway, onto the update:
So those guys have just had their armour done and added weapons, pouches and a grenade. The Melta gun, have just drilled out the barrel and the surrounding flash suppresor. I will add a new bit of piping here too as the moulded one has too much distortion from the casting process.
So these guys. I have made an Ultramarine-y type helmet (don’t know the codex definition of this variant, sorry). Looks cool tho! I see this one having the bolter high and tight to his chest and sighting down the length of the gun. A little work will be needed to the arms here, but should not be too difficult.
The other Marine, is wearing a reinforced variant. I made the plates from Procreate, and added a peppering of the Scale Hardware rivets. The gorget was aluminium tubing… Am converting his arm from a Terminator one as he will have a wrist mounted flamer unit as well as his bolter, so I wanted something more substantial to use as a base.
